Chester Summer Basketball league is a NON-Profit organization run 100% by volunteers. We are NOT affiliated with the schools nor the local recreation departments. Thanks to the Chester Twsp. Board of Education and the Chester Boro Rec. Dept for allowing us to use the outdoor courts at BRMS & Grove St. Park. Thanks to the Chester PAA for supporting us.

CSB MISSION

Chester Summer Basketball is all about giving our young players more time on the court. It's all about allowing them to have fun with the game of basketball while making friends with players from other towns that are otherwise opponents during the school year. It's all about letting them self-direct their own play and that of the game they are in. It's good old fashioned "Pick up" ball yet in a structured and supervised environment. There is no coaching, no one telling the players how to play the game - rather the players are granted more freedom in this league to try new moves and game tactics that a coach may not allow in a normal game. Everyone plays in a safe, uninhibited yet structured environment where FUN abounds.
